Oh my god, go to Zindagi Salon and get the best hair of your life. I have been seeing Sarah Mya for 2 1/2 years, I followed her from Festoon Salon and will follow here where ever she goes. Her new salon is very upscale and airy. I have pretty unruly hair and Sarah Mya has been the only one to give me a fabulous, yet low maintenance style that even I can style at home to look good. Do yourself a favor and see her.

Pros: The hair! The color! The beautiful salon!

I've been seeing Sarah Mya (formally Mya of Festoon) for over four years now, and can't imagine letting anyone else touch my hair. She's amazing! She listens to all my hair concerns, is attentive to my needs always, and is able to create the most fabulous, yet low maintenance style. I just had my first appointment with her in her new salon, Zindagi, and immediately fell in love with the space. I sipped on wine while she brought my hair back to life! Does it get better than that?

Pros: mellow yet artistically inspired atmosphere

"I met Sarah Mya at a business networking event of all places and I was so impressed with how professional, friendly, and artistic that she is that I decided to book an appointment. I should preface this by saying that I absolutely dread getting a haircut, and before seeing Sarah Mya, it had been about 8 months. I came in for my appointment with absolutely no idea about what I wanted. She listened carefully to my panicked shouts about cowlicks and products causing greasy hair, and then came up with a super low maintenance but very attractive concept and then completed it to perfection. She then suggested I get rid of my dirty dishwasher natural hair color and created a beautiful and organic (literally) hair color and transformed me! If that wasn't enough, she is hilarious and the salon offers complimentary beverages of the non and alcoholic variety. Sarah Mya is a true artist and I highly recommend her."

"Have you ever had a hair experience where you realize that while you imagine yourself to be a wild and crazy girl you don't actually want a retro 80's hairstyle.  Superhero to save the day! Sarah Maya.  She is the queen of hair color fixing, I didn't really want bright pink perhaps a more staid magenta would suit?  Lets fix that weird wanna be haircut and get it to look half way decent? No actually it was fixed to fantabulousness and she has managed to ellicit curls from my dead straight  hair with no chemicals. Go figure.  She listens and produces a style that I'm happy every time. Short to long still satisfied.

"Sarah Mya is a fantastic stylist!  She's been doing my hair for the past 6 years and I have never been tempted to be unfaithful.  My favorite thing about Sarah Mya is the way she helps me figure out what I want to do with my hair.  I always show up totally indecisive about the cut or color I want, but she always helps me figure it out and her recommendations are superb.  She is also seriously talented when it comes to color - she really makes the color and the cut work well together.  

I followed Sarah Mya to Zindagi from Festoon, and I prefer Zindagi.  The space is great and the atmosphere is laid back.  Highly recommended!"
